I, lids.

One day I was about to take an afternoon nap. It was pretty bright out. I closed my eyes to go to sleep and realised that all I could see was pink.
It was the inside of my eyelids.
I've been alive 24 years and that thought just came to me. I'm looking at the inside of my eyelids.

It kinda grossed me out, so I decided not to have a nap.

Still no job, but still looking. I'm drawing a lot and I'm really enjoying it. I'd scan some stuff in, but I've got a bunch of CDs on top of my scanner. Also I don't think I have an outlet to plug my scanner into. Dear me.

Happy Easter!

I quit my work!

After four and a half years, I decided I had too much of Dollarama. No longer am I employed in their sordid ranks. Feels kinda weird. 4 and a half years? Ugh. Kind of a sad thing, isn't it?
I went to highschool for 4 years. I learned so much there, but at a dollar store... didn't learn much.
The real world sucks. Working stinks. Blah. Gotta get a new job now. Hopefully with a company that hasn't expanded past what they can resonably deal with. Oh well.
I'm proud of Melly, though! She quit her job a few of months ago and the very next day walked down to Theatre Aquarius and got her foot in the door for a job! After a couple weeks of "We're pretty sure you've got it" she got the call and became the stage technician for one of the plays in the studio theatre. Her two week stint doing that went well, and they've hired her on for a rental thats comming up and NOT ONLY THAT but she's going to be given the Studio Theatre technician contract for next year! She'll tech-monkey all the shows. In addidtion she may even be assisting the lighting tech for the main theatre shows. Hurray!
So I hope me quiting goes as well for me as it did for her.

Hmmm... image upload isn't working.
No picture today, sorry!

HEY! I watched Wallace and Gromit CURSE OF THE WERE-RABBIT yesterday!
Its the best!

Feb you airy blahs.

So everybody says that Febuary is the most depressing month of the year, and the last week or so I've been rather down in the dumps. But BAM-O! on March 1st I cheered right up. Must be because my birthday is so close. MARCH 9th! Happy Birthday to me! YAY! I'll be oooold. 24! That isn't really old, but older than I wanna be. I'm all grown up. Isn't that terrible?
Have some lovely piccys I drew today.

My other journal.

I made a Live Journal account 3 years ago or something.
I just remembered about it.
Wow, eh?
Have some PUBLIC DOMAIN THEATRE! Public domain theatre was started by my Internet friend James. You take old comics and erase the text and make up your own stories! Its so fun!
Here we have Iron Jaw (who is really a bad guy) and Crime Buster (who's the hero of the actual comic). The thing is is that the guy that made the comic had Iron Jaw as such a moron, I felt sorry for him and turned him into the hero. James made a great comic that showed how Crime Buster is just a big jerk, but I can't be arsed to find it.

I went to the bank

I went to the bank to deposit a check. The check was in Mel's name, but we got a joint accound with TD so I figured I could deposit it, since Mel had an uber-unky tummy at the time.
Sure enough it was fine and dandy like unto sour candy for me to deposit this check. It was, however, in American funds and the lady at the counter had to take a few minutes to work out all of the official crap she had to do with it. I had no problem with that. It had to be done, and I knew there was no way around it. It took maybe three minutes for her to sort it all out. No big deal.
But she kept appologizing the WHOLE time. "I'm sorry this is taking so long..." and whatnots. It actually got kind of annoying, until I realized that she was scared. She was scared that since this was taking a bit of time I might fly off the handel and start making a scene. You know, you've seen those kinds of people in line ups. The whole world is against them and every little incovienience they come across they dump upon the poor person behind the counter, Like it's their fault. And this happens to much that this poor lady is basically pleading with me not to get mad at her.
Isn't that sad? What kind of world is this where people behind counters have to be affraid of their costomers? Can't we all just have a little patience and understanding?
No, of course not.
